Sweet Chilli & Lime Tuna Steak, Soba Noodles & Pak Choi Plate
Big flavour, sensible numbers. This Thai plate pairs tuna steak with soba noodles for 62g protein and roughly 532 kcal.
Ingredients
- 150g Tuna Steak
- 160g soba noodles
- 80g edamame beans
- 80g pak choi
- 25g sweet chilli sauce
- 15g juice of ½ lime
- 5g soy sauce
- 10g spring onions
Method
-
1
Prep everything first: wash and trim the edamame and pak choi, then measure out the sauce ingredients.
-
2
Boil the soba noodles for 4-5 minutes, then rinse in cold water to remove starch.
-
3
Sear the tuna steak in a very hot pan for 60-90 seconds per side, keeping the centre pink, then slice.
-
4
Combine the sweet chilli sauce, lime and soy, and toss through the protein and veg in the final minute of cooking.
-
5
Meanwhile, steam or stir-fry the edamame and pak choi for 3-5 minutes until just tender with a little bite.
-
6
Build the plate: soba noodles first, then the veg and tuna steak, spooning over any remaining sauce. Finish with the spring onions.
